LPD: Collision on South Lake Drive/SC-6 at I-20 cleared from roadway

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington Police say the collision on South Lake Drive/SC at I-20 has been cleared from the roadway.

Officers say the wreck was caused by a driver on the exit ramp of I-20 driving over the raised turn divider, passing across inbound lanes, and then hitting multiple vehicles in the outbound lanes while driving over the raised median.

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington Police say outbound lanes are closed and inbound lanes have merged into a single lane on South Lake Drive/SC-6 at I-20 after a collision with injuries.

Officers are working to reopen an outbound lane.

Everyone passing through the area is asked to be alert for first responders who are working in the roadway.
