Snacks are getting cheaper

 

(CNN)– Inflation fatigue is hitting the snacks foods market, prompting retailer to lower prices.

Frito Lay Parent Company Pepsi-co says it’s weighing cost cutting for a number of its brands.

This is after seeing revenues dip in its second quarter amid price increases.

Frito Lay owns Cheetos, Lay’s, Doritos, and Smartfood.

The average price for a bag of potato chips has gone up 30% in the past 4 years from just over $5 to $6.50.
