3 arrested for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Three people have been arrested in relation to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, say Sumter County deputies.

Two women and a man were arrested after a deputy observed a vehicle on Bagnal Drive driving left of the center line on Saturday, July 13, around 10:46 p.m.

The deputy performed a traffic stop that led to a search of the vehicle.

Sumter County Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle search led to deputies finding several small containers with a rock-like substance appearing to be methamphetamine.

Deputies took all three individuals to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.

Guy Owens, Marlana Walker, and Melinda Walker all were charged with possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and each of them were released on a $5000 bond.
