Lexington Police warn residents about online scam

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– A scam warning from the Lexington Police Department was posted on Monday.

Investigators says thy began getting calls about a missing child with autism named Brandon Cooper they read about on social media.

Police say this is a scam. Authorities say be careful with what you click on and don’t share anything without verifying the information.
