Spartanburg Co., SC (WOLO) — The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office is hoping members of the community can help them locate a man they say hasn’t been seen since Monday. Authorities say 67 year old Eugene Mack was last seen in the area of Hill and 4th street in the Boilings Springs area around 3 pm on July 15, 2024.

Authorities described him as 5’10” tall, weighing approximately 163 pounds, with thinning or balding hair and according to family members was last seen wearing a black polo shirt that reads “God got me,” black dress pants, and white shoes.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office says it is urgent to find the man they are considering a ‘vulnerable adult’ due to medical conditions his family says he suffers from. They add that ‘his safety and well being are of the utmost concern’. The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office as well as the Spartanburg County Aviation Unit and their K-9 unit are actively searching for Mack from air and with boots on the ground.
Officials are asking anyone who may see Mack or knows of his whereabouts to contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately.
