Sumter Police searching for teen who did not return home, say deputies.

SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter officers are working to find a 16-year-old who left home without permission and has not returned, said officers.

Sumter PD said Tamera Keitt, 16, left home on Wednesday morning, July 17, without permission and did not return.

Keitt is 5 feet 5 inches tall, about 190 pounds with has long black braids and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, gray shorts and a black backpack. Investigators said she also may have packed before leaving home.
