53-year-old charged with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct against female minor

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A 53-year-old has been charged with intent to commit criminal sexual conduct against a female minor, said Columbia Police.

Irwin Wilson allegedly committed the crimes inside a Columbia home between January 2018 and July 30, 2021.

Investigators said Wilson is a registered sex offender in Richland County stemming from a criminal sexual conduct 3rd degree conviction in 1994.

Wilson was taken to the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center.
