Richland One offering golden activities passes for senior citizens

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland One is offering golden passes to senior citizens ages 60 and older who live within the district, said officials.

The pass provides eligible seniors with free admission to all district-sponsored athletics events, except Sportsarama and playoff games.

A Golden Activities Pass can be obtain from the Richland One Office of Communications, which is located in the Stevenson Administration Building (1616 Richland Street, Columbia, SC 29201).

Golden Activities Passes are issued on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

To obtain a Golden Activities Pass, seniors must show a valid driver’s license or a South Carolina Identification Card as proof of residence within Richland One.

The pass is only valid for the person whose name is listed on the identification, according to the district.
