Pelion police need help identifying suspected hit & run driver

Lexington Co., SC (WOLO) — The Pelion Police Department is asking for help identifying the driver they believe was involved in a hit and run accident. The incident took place at the beginning of the month, but the department continues to search for a suspect and is highlighting the incident in their weekly edition of #CrimeTipTuesday

According to authorities,on July 2 a suspect was caught on surveillance cameras hitting another car while driving down Pine Street where it intersects with Main Street. Officials say the driver left the scene of the accident and was last seen driving toward Wagener.

No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
