SLED: Midlands man charged with lottery fraud after using stolen lottery tickets
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A Lexington County man has been charged with lottery fraud after SLED says he stole lottery tickets.
Mitchell Lonnell Gleaton, 47, is accused of stealing scratch-off lottery tickets from a Simba Express in Cayce on August 13, 2023.
SLED agents say Gleaton was seen on camera stealing the tickets and cashing the tickets at a Simba Express and a S Mart on Elmwood Avenue.
He was charged with intent to defraud, counterfeit game tickets on Tuesday, July 16.
And booked at the Lexington County Detention Center.
