Study: Money can buy happiness

(CNN)– A new study seems to indicate that money can buy happiness.

It refutes a popular theory in behavioral science research that people hit a happiness plateau after earning around 100 thousand.

According to new research there is an ever increasing association between more money and happiness.

Researchers surveyed people with incomes of at least 10 thousand dollars a year but also included millionaires.

The research suggests if a happiness plateau level exists, it is considerably higher than incomes of hundreds of thousands of dollars a year.
