U.S. hirings slow down in July

(CNN)– Hiring dropped off in the U.S. private sector last month while wage growth continued to slow.

Payroll processor ADP’s data shows private sector employment increased by an estimated 122 thousand jobs in July.

That’s much slower growth than the month before which saw job growth of 155 thousand positions.

It was also well below the expectations of economists.
