Dominion Energy offering energy assistance as Summer temperatures linger

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Dominion Energy is encouraging customers who may need help financially to reach out for assistance this Summer.

Customers can review a variety of payment plans and assistance options by accessing their account online or through the Dominion Energy mobile app.

“We understand high temperatures paired with humidity can cause our customers to set their thermostats lower, causing their air conditioning units to work harder, which can have a significant impact on their monthly energy bills,” said Sam Dozier, general manager of customer service at Dominion Energy South Carolina.

To apply for help Dominion Energy electric and natural gas customers must contact their local community action agency, said officials.

Go to DominionEnergySC.com/assistance for a complete list of community action agencies by county.
