City of Columbia’s Parent Café Sessions for gun safety throughout August
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – The City of Columbia Office of Violent Crime Prevention & Be Strong Families are hosting a series of events to teach parents gun safety tips to keep their families safe.
The Parent Café Sessions will be held on August 8, 15, & 22 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Lorick Park, 1600 Lorick Avenue.
Curtis spoke with Trevon Fordham, Director of the Office of Violent Crime Prevention about how these events help parents to have meaningful conversations about the impact of gun violence within homes and communities.
There will also be raffles, food, drinks and much more!
