SC Tax Free Weekend begins

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Tax free weekend begins Friday, August 2, and it is officially underway in the Midlands.

Friday through Sunday, shoppers will be able to purchase school supplies and other items without the state’s 6% sales tax.

Officials say last year, South Carolinians spend more than 30 million dollars on tax free weekend.
