Taco Bell targets inflation weary customers
(CNN)– Fast food giant Taco Bell may be seeing some success at luring back inflation-weary customers.
David Gibbs, CEO of parent company Yum Brands, is crediting Taco Bell’s 10 item value menu.
Yum Brands also launched or reintroduced value deals at all its biggest chains including KFC and Pizza Hut.
But of the three, only Taco Bell’s U.S. same-store sales grew in the second quarter, increasing at 5%.
