CIU ready to welcome freshmen and transfer students to campus

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Columbia International University is welcoming freshmen and transfer students to campus this month.

Thursday, Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. over 200 freshmen and transfer students will be unloading their belongings at CIU’s residence halls.

The class of 2028 will join upperclassmen for the first day of the new academic year on Monday, Aug. 26.

It is also a year of celebration at CIU as new president Dr. Bill Jones will be inaugurated during Homecoming Weekend Nov. 1- Nov. 2.

With over 2,600 students studying on campus or online, CIU specializes in Bible-centered professional development that prepares students to impact the nations with the
message of Christ in ministry, missions and the marketplace.
