Gas down slightly due to Tropical Storm Debby

(CNN)– With the threat of Debby waning, AAA reports the national average price for a gallon of gasoline dipped 3 cents since last week to 3.45 a gallon.

In South Carolina, the average price is $3.8 a gallon.

AAA spokesperson says Debby’s threat to Gulf Coast oil production and refining is over, but assed Middle East tensions and some overseas economic uncertainty may mitigate any drop in oil prices.

Meanwhile, it reports the national and state averages for L2 commercial electricity, used by electric vehicles is the same as the previous week.
