Greenville Co. Sheriff’s Office investigates shooting

Greenville, SC (WOLO) — Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are trying to gather more information surrounding a shooting they say took place just before 5pm Monday evening. According to authorities, the incident took place in the 100 block of Crestwood Forest Drive after officials say a verbal altercation between several men led to gunfire.

Deputies say they received two 911 calls from citizens saying several men were arguing at the address when one of the men started shooting. Officials say at least one round struck the male victim. Authorities say that man was taken to an area Urgent Care center before medical staff had him transported by EMS to an area hospital.

At last check the condition of the victim was unknown.
