SC State freshman students move in ahead of fall semester
ORANGEBURG, SC (WOLO) — With around 2,500 students, South Carolina State University boasts a proud reputation.
The largest HBCU in the state kicks off another fall semester later this month, but this week, freshman students are arriving in Orangeburg.
Older students and staff were on hand to help the newcomers move into their dorms and get settled.
While it may be a difficult transition, many of the students we spoke to on campus are excited for their first semester of college to begin.
The rest of the week, SC State holds orientation and classes start a week from Tuesday.
