City’s Office of Violent Crime Prevention to host Parent Café Sessions
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The City of Columbia’s Office of Violent Crime Prevention will host Parent Café Sessions during the month of August.
City officials say the department is partnering with Be Strong Families to host three parent café sessions to have meaningful conversations about the impact of gun violence within homes and communities.
The sessions are adults only and will be held on August 15, and August 22, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Sessions will be held at Lorick Park (1600 Lorick Avenue).
There will be raffles, dinner, and community empowerment. Parents looking to attend must register at the link here.
