Taxpayers in South Carolina may experience some relief after the state Dept. of Revenue delayed some due dates in the wake of Tropical Storm Debby.

Several returns and payments originally due between August 4 of this year and February 3 of the coming year are now due February 3, 2025.

This relief applies to all 46 South Carolina counties and follows the IRS’s decision to issue relief for the effects of the storm.

The SCDOR will automatically provide relief to affected taxpayers. No action is required. Click here to learn more.
