Study reveals most dangerous time to drive in SC

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– A new study revealed the most dangerous time to drive in South Carolina.

The study by Law Firm Scott Vicknair found that between 9 p.m. and 9:59 p.m. is the most dangerous time in the Palmetto State.

That’s because 401 of the 5,916 fatal crashes recorded in the state between 2017 and 2022 occurred at the time.

Nationwide, 5 p.m. to 5:59 p.m. was found to be the most dangerous time in 12 states.

The study used the latest data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
