Forest Acres Town Council presents plans for location of old Richland Mall

FOREST ACRES, S.C. (WOLO)– On Monday morning, Aug. 19, the Forest Acres Town Council was presenting with a conceptual master plan for the park that will take the place of the old Richland Mall.

Officials say a key highlight will be an amphitheater, along with an event space that will also serve as a venue for the city’s farmers’ market, and a playground for young families.

Another portion of the mall is owned by Southeastern Development.

Forest Acres officials say that portion will be developed into residential and retail space along with a grocery store and a brewery.
