USC hosts traditional ‘First Night’ event on campus

Columbia, SC (WOLO) — It’s officially a new school year and students at the University of South Carolina went all out for their annual ‘First Night’ event on campus Monday.  The welcome event was held at the horseshoe where faculty officially greeted the class of 2028. Everyone from Freshmen to Seniors converged on the yard to celebrate what it means to be a Gamecock.

Classes at USC officially start Tuesday.
