Anderson Co. Sheriff’s arrest man accused of drug trafficking

Anderson County, SC (WOLO) — A Pendleton man is behind bars tonight after deputies say they discovered various types of drugs in backpacks inside of his Maple Street home. According to deputies, the Special Investigations Division and Narcotics Investigations Unit executed a search warrant at the apartment of Larry Burton when they found the drugs.
Detectives say they seized more than 18 grams of Methamphetamine, more than 25 grams of Cocaine, 29 grams of Crack Cocaine, 28 grams of Fentanyl and more than 7 grams of Mushrooms.
Authorities say they could not find Burton inside the residence, and sent their Fugitive Investigations Unit out where they tracked him down to an apartment along Honea Path where he was taken into custody.
Larry Burton is facing a long list of Trafficking drug charges and remains inside the Anderson County Detention Center.
