3 additional people arrested in connection with double homicide on Hickory Ridge Drive

RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott says three additional people have been arrested in connection with a double homicide that happened in July.
The double homicide happened in the 300 hundred block of Hickory Ridge Drive in Eastover, according to the sheriff’s office.
Previously a 16-year-old was arrested in connection to the deaths.
A second person, Nycoreian James, 17, was arrested on July 26, and charged as an adult.
A third person who is 16 years old was arrested on July 31, and a fourth person who is also 16 years old was arrested on Aug. 5.
All four teens were charged with two counts of murder, one count of attempted murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, and possession of a firearm under 18.
Richland County Sheriff’s Department says all of the teens are currently detained.
RCSD investigators confirmed that the shooting on July 9, 2024, stems from an unsolved murder in CPD’s jurisdiction that happened several years ago.
Also, investigators say they are not searching for any outstanding suspects at this time.
