Father fatally shot his daughter on Saturday, say Clarendon County deputies
CLARENDON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Clarendon County deputies say a father fatally shot his daughter on Saturday.
According to investigators, 41-year-old Lekenla Cantey was in a physical altercation with her wheelchair bound father, 68-year-old Buster Bennett at a home in Summerton when Bennett shot and killed her.
When deputies arrived to the Summerton area home, they found Cantey unresponsive in a hallway inside the home.
Clarendon County Sheriff’s Office says no charges have been filed at this time as the investigation continues.
