AT&T resolves wireless outage

(CNN)– AT&T said it has resolved a software issue that caused an outage for some wireless customers on Tuesday, Aug. 27.

Details about the specifics of the software issue were not immediately released.

However, a company spokesperson said the outage affected a limited number of customers, but was not nationwide.

A spokesperson for the wireless giant issued a statement apologizing for the “inconvenience” and thanking customers for their patience.

The AT&T outage comes just one day after the Federal Communications Commission announced a 950 thousand dollar settlement with AT&T.
