1 dead, 2 injured after Thursday afternoon collision

ORANGEBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– One person is dead and two people were injured after a Thursday afternoon collision in Orangeburg County, said SC Highway Patrol.
The collision happened just before 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, on Highway 321 near Creek Mill Road, around 20 miles north of Orangeburg.
Highway Patrol said a 2015 Honda sedan and a 2005 Chevy pickup were both heading north when the pickup rear-ended the sedan.
The driver of the Honda was taken to the hospital with injuries, and the passenger died at the scene, Highway Patrol said.
The person driving the pickup was also taken to the hospital by EMS.
