Labor Day gas prices head for 3 year lows

(CNN)– You can look forward to some lower prices at the pump this holiday weekend.

Gasbuddy says the national average stands at $3.27 a gallon.

That’s the cheapest for the Labor Day holiday since 2021.

In the Midlands, drivers are paying an average of $2.88 a gallon.

The recent drop in gas prices can be linked to weaker oil prices, and less refinery outages than last Summer.
