Sumter Police searching for man wanted in connection to attempted armed robbery, shooting that injured a man

SUMTER, S.C. (WOLO)– Sumter Police is searching for a man wanted by police on charges related to an attempted armed robbery and shooting that injured a man in October.

Officers say Shymeik Deshawn Leneau, 28, is wanted in connection to an incident that happened on Oct. 22 at a South Main Street location.

Leneau has not been seen in the area since then, say investigators.
