(WLOS) — Carowinds has announced a new “fun and frightful” fall lineup for the amusement park.
This year, the park will debut two new family-friendly events, ‘Tricks and Treats’ and ‘Oktoberfest,’ along with the return of the park’s ‘SCarowinds’ Halloween event.
For the first time since its debut in 2000, visitors will no longer need a separate ticket for these experiences. This means that all three of the themed events will be included in a single admission ticket.
Tricks and Treats will run on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 14 to Oct. 27 from noon to 6 p.m. This family-friendly event will include live entertainment such as mask craft stations, trick-or-treating, a pumpkin patch and more. There will also be fall-themed foods and drinks, as well as a parade.
Guests can also experience a taste of Germany with the park’s Oktoberfest celebration, which will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from Sept. 14 to Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Visitors can enjoy German food and a wide selection of beers, along with music and family-friendly entertainment. There will be yard games, a brat-eating contest and other activities.
SCarowinds will take place on select nights from Sept. 13 through Oct. 27, and will featurefour scare zones, four spooky live shows and five mazes. The park’s iconic thrill rides will also take on a new life when it gets dark outside.
Ticket prices start at $49.99. Click herefor more information.
