DirecTV compensates customers after Disney outage
(CNN)– DirecTV is offering some compensation to customers as the blackout of Disney owned channels stretches into a third day.
The company is offering credits of at least $20 to customers who have DirecTV, DirecTV Stream, and U-Verse Services.
But customers won’t receive it automatically, they have to go to DirecTV’s website and apply for it.
On Sunday, September 1, Disney pulled ESPN and other cable channels it owns from DirecTV’s lineup after the two companies failed to reach a new distribution deal.
