Former School Resource Officer, USC basketball player pleads guilty
A former Midlands school resource officer and USC basketball player entered a guilty plea in court Tuesday.
Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)–A former Midlands school resource officer and USC basketball player entered a guilty plea in court Tuesday.
A spokesperson for the Fifth Judicial Circuit says Jamel Bradley pleaded guilty to Sexual Battery with a student between 16-17 years old and Assault and Battery in the first degree.
In 2020 Bradley was accused of sexual battery of a female student while working as a school resource officer at Spring Valley High School between October 2015 and may of 2016.
Bradley received a five-year sentence, suspended to three years’ probation.
He is also required to register as a sex offender.
