LL Flooring goes out of business
(CNN)– LL Flooring, formerly known as Lumber Liquidators is going out of business after failing to find a buyer to rescue the 30-year old retailer.
Inventory at its 200 stores will be put on sale starting Friday before the locations close in about three months.
The shutdown will put about two thousand workers out of a job.
LL Flooring began about 30 years ago as a company that bought and sold excess inventory.
The company expanded and currently sells about 500 varieties of hard-surface floors.
