ACLU files lawsuit over SC Trans Law
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– The American Civil Liberties Union of South Carolina filed a lawsuit last week against the state because of a new law that will prohibit healthcare providers from providing services to members of the transgender community.
The ACLU said the ban would block life saving care for transgender youth and adults.
State Representative Jordan Pace, a supporter of the law said in response to the lawsuit, it seems the ACLU has chosen the demagoguery of the far-left rather than the traditional, American principles that they were founded on.
