Jobs report may determine size of Fed’s rate cut
(CNN)– Friday’s U.S. jobs report could be more consequential than usual, providing a key indicator of where the nation’s economy is headed.
It’s expected that the Federal Reserve will cut rates later this month.
Friday’s job numbers will likely indicate the size of that cut.
When it started tightening-up to help fight inflation.
Economists are forecasting that U.S. employers added 160 thousand jobs in August, and for an unemployment rate to drop to 4.2%.
