Road back open after vehicle overturns on Wescott Road, say Irmo Firefighters

IRMO, S.C. (WOLO)– The Irmo Fire District was busy on Thursday morning after a vehicle overturned on Wescott Road, according to a Facebook post.

Firefighters say roads are back open after being blocked for some time in the 5600 block of Wescott Road.

The fire district says one car was involved in the incident and the driver managed to miss all of the other cars on the road.

The driver hit a tree, and then the vehicle overturned onto its roof in the middle of the roadway.
