Survey: Advertisers plan to withdraw from ‘X’ in record numbers
(CNN)– Elon Musk may see a slew of advertisers leave his ‘X’ platform next year, according to a recent global survey.
Market research firm Kantar found that over a quarter of marketers plan to decrease their spending on the social media platform in 2025.
They say the extreme content on ‘X’ could damage their brands.
The move would be the biggest pullback ever recorded on any major global ad platform.
Of those surveyed, only 4% said that ads on ‘X’ provide brand safety, meaning that their ads would not appear with extreme content.
