Homeless No More celebrates leaders & organizations at Stars So Bright event!
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – One non-profit is celebrating the leaders and organizations making a difference in helping the homeless in the Midlands.
Homeless No More’s Stars So Bright event is on Thursday, September 19 from 7 – 9 p.m. at the Historic Pool at 701 Whaley.
Curtis spoke with Homeless No More’s CEO Lila Anna Sauls, who talked about how this event raises necessary funds to support the shelters and programs of Homeless No More (Family Shelter and St. Lawrence Place).
She says six community leaders will be honored as Stars at this year’s event which include Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford & Columbia College President John H. Dozier.
Those six leaders also chose a group of Rising Stars to celebrate emerging leaders which includes Councilman Tyler Bailey.
