Lexington County Animal Services hosting free microchips event
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County Animal Services is hosting a free microchips event next month.
Officials say the event will be held on October 12, at the Batesburg-Leesville Police Department.
Animal services is giving out 100 free microchips.
All anyone needs is an ID along with your pet and officials will chip, and register the microchip at the police department.
The event is for Lexington County residents only and people are asked to make sure all animals are on a secure leash and/or in a crate.
