Mega Millions draws for $740 million Friday night

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Friday night’s Mega Millions draws for $740 million ($366.3 million cash).
Tickets for the lottery are $2, and can be purchased up until one hour before the drawing is held at 11 p.m.
SC Lottery officials say Friday’s jackpot ranks as the 7th highest for the Mega Millions game.
The jackpot has been growing since it was last won on June 4.
Also, officials say historically September has been a good month for Mega Millions jackpot winners.
And since the game began in 2002, 21 jackpots have been won during September.
The Mega Millions jackpot odds are 1 in 303 million.
