Midlands Tech downtown campus placed on lock down

Columbia, S.C. (WOLO)- A spokesperson for Midlands Technical College says the campus on Beltline Blvd. was placed on lock down Friday afternoon.

That lock down has since been lifted.

Midlands Tech officials say a man caused a disturbance in the college’s student center and was injured in the process.

No word on the extent of  his injuries. No other injuries were reported.
