ORANGREBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Orangeburg County deputies are searching for a person who used a stolen credit card, said the sheriff’s office.

Deputies say on July 10, a woman called saying her financial transaction card was taken from her purse at some point.

Security video of a transaction with the stolen card depicts a person wearing a dark hoodie and blue jeans.

The person is seen in a video entering a dark colored vehicle, possibly an older model Toyota Camry.

“This individual steals someone’s hard-earned money with no concern of the consequences for the victim whatsoever. If anyone even remotely thinks they know who this is I urge you to call,” the sheriff said.

Anyone with information on the person is asked to call the Orangeburg County Communications Center at 803-534-3550.
