Police in Lexington searching for man accused of taking cellphone out of shopping cart

LEXINGTON, S.C. (WOLO)– Police in Lexington are searching for a man they say took a cellphone out of someone’s shopping cart, say officers.

Investigators say it happened at Walmart on Sunset Boulevard on Aug. 18.

The man has a large forearm tattoo on his left arm.

Lexington PD says he was in a white single cab GMC or Chevrolet pickup truck with after-market rims and chrome bars on the sides of the tailgate.
