Coroner identifies individual who died in a house fire

LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the individual who died in a house fire on Monday, said the coroner’s office.

The fire happened in the 1200 block of Charles Town Road in the Leesville area of Lexington County shortly after 12 p.m. on Sept. 9.

According to Coroner Fisher, Craig Raymond Kustermann, 54, of Leesville, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 12, at 11 a.m. at MUSC in Charleston.

The incident remains under investigation by the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division, the Lexington County Sheriff’s Department, and the Lexington County Coroner’s Office.
