Local Living: Thrive Together Open House, Child and Family Resource Foundation, Fall Arts and Crafts Market

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)— In today’s look at Local Living, Senior Resources is hosting its Thrive Together Open House this Friday, Sept. 13.

It is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Laurie Center on Park Circle.

There will be giveaways, special classes, refreshments, and much more.

The event is free to attend.

 

This Saturday, Sept. 14, the nonprofit organization “Child and Family Resource Foundation” will hold its annual fashion show fundraiser in Hartsville.

The foundation is dedicated to helping families heal from grief, trauma, and loss by connecting them to necessary resources.

Known as “H’Arts On The Runway”, local boutiques and kids from the foundation will show off their favorite fashion looks.

The Midlands annual Fall Arts and Crafts Market kicks off this weekend, and the event will happen from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday.

And then again from 12 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday at the State Farmers Market, which is located in West Columbia.

More than 160 crafters and vendors will be showcasing their talents as well as their creations.

There will also be a silent auction to benefit Harvest Hope food Bank. Admission is free.
