Lexington County Coroner identifies person who died after single-vehicle collision
LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher has identified the person who died after a single-vehicle collision, says the coroner’s office.
The collision happened in the 4000 block of Fish Hatchery Road in the Gaston area of Lexington County at around 4:25 p.m. on Wednesday, September 11.
According to Coroner Fisher, Johnnie Elmer Fulmer III, 66, of Gaston was traveling north on Fish Hatchery Road when the vehicle he was traveling in ran off the left side of the roadway and hit a tree.
Fulmer was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained.
The Lexington County Coroner’s Office and South Carolina Highway Patrol are continuing to investigate the collision.
