Three big Powerball tickets expire soon in South Carolina
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Some lucky winners in the Palmetto State have only one week left to claim their winnings, according to SC Lottery officials.
Three people in the state have one week to claim their big Powerball wins, so make sure to check your ticket if you played the Powerball in March.
A ticket worth $100,000 and two for $50,000 all expire on Thursday, September 19.
Check your tickets if you played Powerball in March at the following locations:
- Country Store, 1800 Gold Hill Rd., Fort Mill – $100,000
- Mo’s Convenience and Tobacco Store, 1214 Sand Bar Ferry Rd., Beech Island – $50,000
- Refuel, 4584 Hwy. 17, Murrells Inlet – $50,000
The tickets were purchased for the Powerball drawing on Saturday, March 23.
The winning Powerball numbers were 6, 23, 25, 34, 51 and PB 3. The PowerPlay multiplier was 2. And the DoublePlay drawing results were 18, 24, 43, 46, 47 and PB 11.
Lottery officials say the winning tickets must be claimed in person at the Columbia Claims Center before 4 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 19.
But if it mailed, the envelope must be postmarked by that date.
If the prizes are not claimed, the winnings will be deposited in the Education Lottery Account to support educational programs in South Carolina.
